Optix offers a variety of integrations to its users in order to organize their data as efficiently and effectively as possible, but we’re not perfect! There may be a datasource that we do not support (yet!). If this is the case, let’s explain different ways on how to connect your own datasource!
There are two different options for displaying your data: you can manually display your data using our static text visuals or you can upload your own CSV file.
1.) Using Static Visuals
We will be the first to admit; using static visuals is not the most effective way of displaying big data. But if you’re trying to show a small set of data, static visuals work the charm just as a dynamic visual. Specifically, using the text content visual, you display your data in a simple statement, list, or even table. To learn more about using this visual, click here! And if you are unfamiliar with the static visuals, click here!
2.) Uploading your personal CSV file
Using a CSV file give you more of a dynamic usage for your data. Using a CSV file in an integration gives you the ability to set up your own metrics and dimensions, giving you more control of what you want to display and how to display it. Along with this, you easily create a way for your organization to access this data as well! We have an entirely dedicated article to these file here!
